My first EP, "SLICE," holds a special place for two reasons. First, as the name suggests, I'm thrilled to finally be able share a substantial slice of my musical capabilities with everyone who has supported me throughout the years. The second layer of significance is about taking you, the listener, on an intimate journey through the stories that define adulthood.Every track resonates deeply, weaving a narrative that does its best to stretch across the spectrum of emotions and experiences that define who we are. It delves into themes of love, resilience, and self-discovery; all the profound moments that shape us.As always, I am a writer, so I've employed words as best as I can to tell stories that strike a chord with you. Tracks like "You Don't Love Me" and "Take Me Back" are intentionally soul-stirring, hinting at moments of vulnerability that life throws us into.The remaining tracks, "Minimum Wage," "Love Me Loud," and "Feel Good," narrate a journey of self-awareness and unapologetic confidence that I hope inspires you to embrace your true self, even if you've experienced the themes hinted at in the former two tracks.The album is painted with Afrobeat and R&B influences in a way that reflects my musical influences and also reaches those who appreciate good storytelling.
